I am 66 years old. I weigh 208.4, and have a percent of body
fat of 17.5%. That means that if I was at 0% fat I would still weigh 171.5
pounds. So that means if I was to get down to a BMI of 25 I would have to get
down to 6% body fat. And for my age I am already close to the least amount of
body fat I should be at for my age. So where does all this stupid calculations
come from that say you have to weigh so and so because the charts says so.
When are they going to wake up and get real meaningful readings for what a person should weigh? Well that is not going to happen because they would have to do it one person at a time. And all they want to do is look at overall numbers.
